Document Imaging
Imaging is the process of converting original paper documents into
electronic images. The process is accomplished by passing each
document through a scanner which transfers the image onto a computer.
The image is then compressed and indexed. The next step is to transfer
the images onto another medium such as compact disk, optical disk,
hard drive, etc. When you use ACI Data Fulfillment to provide data
entry or imaging services, you are receiving services provided with
high-security equipment.
Secure Data Entry
ACI ensures secure data entry. State-of-the-art software provides for
paper forms to be scanned into the server. The system allows us to use
redaction and image snippets to limit the information that the data
entry personnel can see.
Production
workers never touch your source documents.
ACI employees scan them, and before the scanned images are sent out to
the production floor, all personal information has been obscured.
Obscuring information is accomplished by sending each image to more
than one worker. One worker might input the name fields, a second the
address fields and a third the social security number fields. At the
end of the process, the computer combines all data from the various
workers into a single record.
